Member Requirements Must be a member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or the Sons of the American Legion. ** You may join the American Legion through Mass Riders   or on-line at the American Legion on-line membership site. Must be 21 years of age or greater. You must meet the above requirements and be a registered owner of a motorcycle at least 500cc. The motorcycle must be operational upon renewal or as determined by the Executive Board annually. All new applicants must appear before the Board with their sponsor to express their interest in wanting to join the American Legion Riders. (Note: An applicant may apply without a sponsor upon approval of the Board) Upon approval of applicant, dues will be collected as set by the State Board of Directors.
